India equal Australia record of nine straight Test series wins

New Delhi, Dec 6 (Cricketnmore): The 1-0 win in the three-Test rubber against Sri Lanka on Wednesday saw the Virat Kohli-led Indian team equal Australia's record of nine consecutive Test series wins.

Australia achieved the feat over a period of three years, remaining unbeaten from October 2005 to June 2008. The top ranked Indian team on the other hand, started their undefeated run from the tour to Sri Lanka in July 2015.
