WATCH: 'Dangerous' Dottin Throws Away Her Wicket After Scoring At A Strike Rate Of 188
The first match of the Women's T20 challenge is being played between Trailblazers and Supernovas on May 23rd (Monday) at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune. Earlier, Supernovas captain Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss & opted to bat first, after which Caribbean batter Deandra Dottin gave an explosive start to her team with the bat. Deandra was batting at a strike rate of above 185, but not much later Trailblazers player Sharmin Akhtar dismissed the West Indian with her 'rocket throw'.
Deandra Dottin faced 17 deliveries and with the help of 5 fours and a six, scored 32 runs. Her strike rate was around 188 during her innings in the first Women's T20 Challenge match this year. Dottin also etched a partnership of 50 runs with Priya Punia for the first wicket. However, fate betrayed Dottin as she was dismissed via a runout.
