With this inning, Sam registered his name with the great West Indies batsman Brian Lara. He has made a unique record of crossing the 400-run mark in an innings in first-class cricket. In the match played against Leicestershire, this batsman faced 450 balls and scored 410 not out. During this innings, NorthEast hit 45 fours and three sixes and his strike rate were 91.11.
