Another Day Another World Record Made In Ranji Trophy - This Time By Mumbai

In the 2nd Quarter Final match of the Ranji Trophy 2022, Mumbai defeated Uttarakhand by a margin of 725 runs to march into the Semi-Finals of the tournament. Chasing a target of 795 runs, Uttarakhand got bowled out for 69 in less than 28 overs on the last day of the game.
The margin of 725 runs is the biggest ever in first-class cricket which is now registered by Mumbai. They have now broken the 92-year-old record set by New South Wales when they defeated Queensland in Sheffield Shield 1929-30.
