WATCH: Matty Potts Traps Kiwi Captain Williamson In His First International Over
ENG vs NZ 1st test: After wreaking havoc in the LV= Insurance County Championship, Matthew Potts was handed his debut cap for the first test match against New Zealand at Lord's. Potts struck in his first over as he dismissed the New Zealand captain Kane Williamson for just 2 runs.
After opting to bat first, New Zealand had a disastrous start as they lost the first three wickets in just 7.1 overs for a mere 7 runs. After the Kiwis lost their first wicket (Will Young) in the third over for 2 runs, captain Kane Williamson came out to bat and held the crease at one end, trying to slow down the fall of wickets.
