WATCH: Leach Provides Relief For England; Breaks 236-run Partnership Between Mitchell & Blundell
ENG vs NZ 2nd test: After losing the first test match, New Zealand made a steady and strong start to the 2nd test. Being put in to bat first, Daryl Mitchell & Tom Blundell, who troubled the English bowlers in the first test, went on to frustrate them even more in the second test with a 200+ run partnership for the 5th wicket.
Tom Blundell missed out on his well-deserved ton in the first test, scoring 96 runs with 12 fours in the second innings. However, the batter continued his form from the first test and completed his ton in the second innings. Shortly afterwards, the batter was dismissed by English spinner Jack Leach.
