Lyon Needs To Take Pages From Erapalli Prasanna To Show Australia The Way In India: Greg Chappell
Former Australia cricketer Greg Chappell has advised off-spinner Nathan Lyon to take a leaf out of what former India spinner Erapalli Prasanna, whom he called "arguably the best off-spinner of all-time", used to go about on bowling of the pitches in the country.
Lyon is Australia's premier spinner, picking 460 wickets in 115 matches, averaging 31.65. In India, he has picked 34 wickets in 13 innings, averaging 30.58. With pitches in the country to be spin-friendly ahead of the 2023 Border-Gavaskar Trophy starting from February 9, Lyon emerges as a key figure for Australia.
