Amir's five-for goes waste as clinical Australia beat Pakistan

Taunton, June 13 (CRICKETNMORE) Mohammed Amir produced a spell of excellent fast bowling, but his efforts went in vain as Australia rode David Warner's hundred and Mitchell Starc's effort with the ball to script a 41-run victory over Pakistan in their World Cup clash here on Wednesday.

Amir returned career-best figures of 5/30 to bowl Australia out for 307 in 49 overs after Pakistan chose to field first. David Warner (107) starred with a hundred while skipper Aaron Finch scored 82.
