Dewald Brevis, AB de Villiers' mentee, was picked by Mumbai Indians against Kolkata Knight Riders, where he gave us a flicker of the talent he possesses.
In the 14th match of IPL 2022 between KKR & MI, Dewald Brevis was handed his debut cap. Mumbai acquired Dewald for 3 crores INR after outbidding Chennai Super Kings & Punjab Kings. The 18-year old batter came out to bat at #3 in the 3rd over when MI captain & opener Rohit Sharma was dismissed for 3 runs.
