World Test Championship: Updated WTC Points Table After ENG vs SA 2nd Test; South Africa Replaced At Top
WTC Points Table: After a big defeat in the first test, hosts England bounced back with a bigger win against South Africa in the 2nd test at Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester. Captain Ben Stokes was adjudged the 'Player of the Match' as he guided his team with the bat and the ball to a series-levelling win in the three-match series.
After captain Dean Elgar won the toss & opted to bat first, South Africa were bowled out for 151 in the first innings on the first day of the test. In reply, England looked to be struggling at 147/5, but Ben Stokes and Ben Foakes then came to the rescue as these two etched a partnership of 173 runs for the 6th wicket.
