1st T20I: Sri Lanka Win Toss, Elect To Field First As India Hand Debuts To Shubman, Shivam Mavi

Opener Shubman Gill and pacer Shivam Mavi were handed their India debut as Sri Lanka skipper Dasun Shanaka won the toss and elected to field in the opening T20I of the three-match series at the Wankhede Stadium, here on Tuesday.

Shanaka said the reason behind bowling first was that they expect the dew to play a big role in the second innings.
