Ranji Trophy 2022 - After getting bowled out for 155 runs in the first innings, team Uttar Pradesh made an excellent comeback as they defeated Karnataka by 5 wickets to become the first team of the season to qualify for the playoffs. UP captain Karan Sharma played a match-winning knock to help his team to victory.
Chasing a target of 213 runs, UP lost openers for just 28 runs. Captain Karan Sharma came into bat at #4 and held charge to lead his team to victory. Along with former captain Priyam Garg (52), Karan added 59 runs for the third wicket. The next two batters, Rinku Singh (4) and Dhruv Jurel (9) were dismissed in quick succession.
