Asghar replaces Afsar in Afghanistan side
March 20 (CRICKETNMORE) - Afsar suffered a hamstring injury during Afghanistan’s training session on Sunday and has now been ruled out of further participation in the tournament.
The ICC has confirmed that the Event Technical Committee of the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2018 has approved Asghar Stanikzai as a replacement player for Afsar Zazai in the Afghanistan squad for the tournament, which began on 4 March.
Afsar suffered a hamstring injury during Afghanistan’s training session on Sunday and has now been ruled out of further participation in the tournament.
