Adelaide Strikers Eliminated As Brisbane Heat Win By 6 Wickets
Brisbane Heat chased down 131 comfortably to eliminate Adelaide Strikers from the Big Bash League(BBL). Heat will now play a knockout match against Sydney Thunder.
Chasing a target of 131, Brisbane was in a spot of bother after being reduced to 3/23 inside the powerplay. Joe Denly and Jimmy Peirson revived the Heat's innings with a 69-run partnership. Denly got out on 41 off 40 with the help of two fours and a six. Peirson remained not out on 47 and finished the game comfortably in the end. Joe Burns was also unbeaten on 17.
