KKR vs DC IPL 2022: Shreyas Iyer was the first-ever captain to lead the Delhi franchise into an IPL final, in 2020. However, after he was ruled out due to injury in the next season, his captaincy was taken from him. The right-handed batter was acquired by KKR as their leader, and now the talented batter has smacked his first fifty in KKR jersey, that too against his former franchise!
In the 19th match of IPL 2022 between Kolkata Knight Riders & Delhi Capitals at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai, KKR got off to a disastrous start as both the openers were dismissed in the 5th over at a score of 38. However, captain Shreyas Iyer held the crease as his team had a mammoth target in front of them.
