In a match full of twists & turns, the England team with a new coach & skipper managed to win by 5 wickets against WTC defending champions New Zealand.

In regards to the World Test Championship (WTC) points table, England are still languishing at the bottom with only 30 points from 13 matches and a PCT of 19.23. England have managed to win only two matches till now in the ongoing WTC cycle. 

The defending champions New Zealand are also almost out of the race for the finals, with 28 points in 7 matches and a PCT of 33.33, placed just above England on the points table.
